Pastor Kevin (he/him) grew up on the Texas Gulf Coast and never imagined himself a Lutheran, a pastor, or living in Wisconsin, but life took a weird and wonderful turn for him as a college student. He graduated from Texas Lutheran University in 2007 with a B.A. in History and Theology, and from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in 2012 with a Master of Divinity and a special emphasis in Biblical Studies. His passions in ministry include working with the Bible in its original languages, connecting the ancient world of scripture with the world we live in today, making music, and helping people of every age find ways to connect with God in their daily lives. He also is an active meditation practicioner and enjoys finding ways to help people connect to God through contemplative practices and meditation. When he's not busy doing "church stuff," Kevin loves gardening, cooking, cycling, traveling, learning languages, playing guitar and singing, reading, and spending time with his wife, two daughters, and their home menagerie of dogs, cats, bunnies, and chickens.
